Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR) is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a superior indicator of visceral fat accumulation compared to BMI alone. High WHR is strongly correlate with increased risks for type-2 diabetes and hypertension. Aim for under 0.90 (Male) or 0.85 (Female) for optimal metabolic health.
