Our Pregnancy Horizon engine utilizes Naegele's Rule: adding 280 days (9 months and 7 days) to the first day of the last menstrual period. While this provide a highly accurate estimation center on a 28-day cycle, standard biological variance accounts for the majority of births occurring within +/- 2 weeks of the target.
